"Kind, courteous staff. Only stayed here one night when arriving in Cartagena before heading to the islands. Wish we had come back here for the second part of our trip in Cartagena. Convenient location to lively nightlife, restaurants, etc yet no right on the corner and rooms are away from the street so they are *quiet* at night. "

"The Movich hotel is right in the middle of all the action. Perfect for walking everywhere. We could not be happier with the service and the views from our bedroom. I would stay there again in the future. The breakfasts were amazing and the service was excellent. Because the hotel was so central to all the tourist attractions, we were able to come by and get refreshed in the middle of the day without wasting too much time. "This is a historic Colonial property in a historic, artsy neighborhood. Walkable right out the door to shops and cafes etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you want a gleaming tower separate from the real city, this is not for you. If you want authenticity (and comfort too!) then come here. I’d go back in a heartbeat."
