"We found the breakfast to be rather of poor quality. There were fresh apples, but there were no bananas or oranges, which would’ve been nice for a breakfast. There were no muffins the oatmeal was fine, but the cereals were all sugar coated This was not the buffet star breakfast that I have been accustomed to The printer was down at both the front desk and in the business center. This is unfortunate because we didn’t need it for certain documents. The staff for excellent The room contained two queen size beds, and this was very spacious The hotel was close to the airport and would be recommended for that reason and the excellent staff"

"Did some research to find the most affordable hotel near the water in Jersey City so we can enjoy looking at the city one night and morning before actually going into it and this place was exactly what we wanted. They gave us a nice room with a water city view away from the train tracks, and that is what I recommend what you want staying here. The bed and room was clean and comfy. Everything was walkable to the path subway, ferry, and hotels on the water that have restaurants overlooking the city. So close to everything, after dinner at exchange place with epic views, we did not even plan on going into the city our first night, but the path subway was right there, so we went into Manhattan for a couple of hours anyways because it was so convenient to walk to from our room. So this hotel was great for what we wanted for one night memorized by the city views so close to this hotel. I would stay here again for sure."

"My letter to the Hotel Manager. Mr. Deen I have had many live events at the Robert Treat Hotel including Live Boxing Matches featuring Al Ice Cole, Charles the Natural Murray, Shannon Briggs back in the nineties, and I have hosted many events there afterward. Our stay was always issue-free, and the service was outstanding. I was shocked to hear this from our head of accounting Robert Boyle who never complained about where he stayed including Motel 6's. The kind of behavior and customer service he received from your organization should not be tolerated by even a one-star hotel, let alone one as highly rated as yours. He had a broken thermostat that would not go down from 89 degress and was in a sweatbox. He went to the front desk and asked to be switched out to another room and they refused outright. TYhey called security on him nad the security guard was loud and beligerent. It is impossible to think the hotel didn't have another room available for Robert. You know that as well. Just inexcusable behavior Henceforth, I believe the hotel owes Robert an apology, a reprimand for the security guard and desk clerk and a free one night stay because of this situation, which, in my opinion, was caused by incompetent employees. Please confer. They never did. I will never book another event there again. Complete animals"
