"The room I ordered (king and queen suite) doesn’t exist. After two more wrong rooms (a single and an occupied room) was finally given a double queen. Reeked of smoke, had not been cleaned (we found thong underwear in the shower) and was not cleaned during our multi-day stay either. Ended up with a partial refund but between the natural noise of the bar next door and the terrible stay I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy "

"AC didn’t work until the second night after 2 trips to the front desk. beds very comfortable but room very dated the price was what originally attracted me. i heard they had remodeled but i guess only some rooms i normally stay at the golden nugget but the price was much much more than el cortez "

"First day of arrival we did not have hot water and had to call for assistance they said we had to run the water at less 15-20mins before to get hot water. We paid the newly remoled side lol and when we got off the elevator the phone on the wall was broken and hanging on the floor. Our room was pretty small and felt tight. I will not be staying at this hotel again. "

"Staff was horrible. I called housekeeping multiple times and no one ever answered. I called the front desk from my room and again. No answer! I had to call the 1-800 number I found online just to order fresh towels to my room. The towels NEVER CAME!! I spent 2.5 days there with the same towels. Thoroughly disappointed with this place. "
