"The room was very dusty. The loft steps looked like it hadn’t been mopped or dusted for months. The hot water in the shower did not work. After running the water for more than 10minutes, the water was still dirty. The refrigerator wasn’t working. I had to turn it on when I arrived but by morning the fridge was no longer on and my dog’s food was spoiled. This is my 4th timing staying here and the experience just gets worse and worse. The only reason I return is because my event is so close by. Otherwise, I would never return to this hotel. They need to hire better cleaning crew. And why does the elevator not work after 10pm?"

"Cool hotel, nicely curated, location in a nice neighbourhood with good restaurants. Our room was very small , though had a fantastic view, we had to live out of our cases as little space to put clothes, one drawer under the bed, another one with the safe in. Staff were nice and helpful with few issues we had. The 2 restaurants are good, esp the roof top one. The only other thing worth mentioning is the seating area around the bar and cafe was always full of people on laptops so we couldn’t always find a seat when using the cafe."

"Used hotels tonight to book ended up paying through Expedia at the hotel.? Come to find out there was no resort fee if booked directly with the hotel. We needed an extra night our 3rd party,Hotel Tonight tried to charge me double the nightly rate, Do not use Hotels Tonight go directly to 42 Hotel, way better rates and no charge for the amenities. Plus incentives and discounts for future stays!"

"Excellent location"

"Room shower was not a good design. Water poured out within 30 secs of turning the shower on. No lotion, slippers, or water available, had to call for slippers ( much needed since the floors had a lot of dust and turned the bottom of the slippers gray/ black in less than a few hours of wearing it). There were wet spots on the sheets that smelled very heavily of laundry detergent upon arrival. Rooftop and other lounges around the hotel were very nice."
