"A last minute stopover to break up a long trip and for €65 we could not have asked for more. The check in process was smooth and easy. The receptionist spoke very good English (after my painful attempt at checking us in in french!) The rooms were exceptionally clean. The beds were extremely comfy and we slept so well! "Malgré un état de propreté tres bien, l’hôtel est totalement dans son jus. Tout est vieillot avec une peinture qui s’écaille au mur. Dommage car je pense que cet hôtel a eu ces moments de gloire. Demanderait à être refait car du potentiel avec les petits jardinais qui sont devant les chambres sont un plus pour les beaux jours mais l’hôtel n’a pas de bar ce qui est également dommage. "

"Spotlessly clean. Excellent staff. Pool was covered for our stay. What made this stay memorable was the restaurant attached. One of the best 3 course meals I can remember and unbelievable value for money. Fantastic wine list to boot. If you stay here you must try the restaurant. The hotel was not busy but the restaurant was full. The breakfast in the separate hotel dining room was only average but acceptable. The bed I found much too hard so I did not sleep that well. I would stay here again...

Etat de la chambre trés moyen, propre mais tâches sur la couette blanche, moisi sur le tour de la baignoire avec une tartinée de silicone pour masquer les dégats. J'ai bien vu un effort sur les équipements et la déco mais c'est un hôtel qui doit être entierement refais à mon avis"

On arrival yesterday in a heatwave of 40 degrees the air conditioning was not working on our room. I raised this issue with the manager as it was unbearably hot and uncomfortable in our room.
