"The Accomodation has all amenities and comfort including large bath and the nice touch of a DVD collection. Kitchen has all you need. But it is completely blind (there are windows but you need to keep blinds down so it’s dark!) which the listing avoided showing with great success. We were imagining a small stable with an open space or a bit of a view but even the back mini courtyard is completely fenced off and the windows give onto a passageway. "No Air conditioning! Bar under with loud party all night long. Windows open for air. You book this room only if you want to party. Otherwise you will be kept up all night long. 90 degrees outside and hotter inside do to restaurant ovens directly under room. It was the worst experience. Jet lag turned into nightmare 😫"

"We had a very comfortable stay in a twin room with a huge bathroom (no sea view). The room was clean and had everything we needed including a fan (although I had to clean it before use). The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The Boat House is nice and close to the beach and both Ryde and Seaview are walkable. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice."

"The Hotel is very well placed in Lyndhurst at the top of the town. We had a snug double room which was at the back of the hotel, so no road noise which was good. The facilities were very good in the room, such as kettle, tea, coffee etc. There were a couple of issues, one being the bath plug was blocked so the shower waste water just stayed in the bath and drained very slowly. Also, being at the back of the hotel we were right above the staff smoking shelter and heard they staff there early in the morning smoking and chatting and also had the smell of smoke coming through the window at times and for a non smoker this is not very pleasant. The breakfast were good, plenty to choice from and well stocked. Overall the hotel is a lovely place, with a lovely back garden to sit and enjoy a drink and the staff were very polite and welcoming. Would stay there again but would request a different room. I would recommend this hotel."
