"We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by the loveliest staff! We were then kindly given an upgrade from a snug room to a superior double with lake views which absolutely made our stay! Such a king gesture. This is our 5th time visiting we try to make it at least twice a year!"

My only complaint is the music that was playing in the evening.....as much as I love AC/DC, I think something softer would be more appreciated by the folk having dinner and drinks. "I had a very comfortable stay. The room was a generous size with an excellent bed, and I appreciated the in-room touches—tea and coffee, a fridge, and a smart TV with iPlayer and Netflix. Parking spaces at the front were difficult to get, but the overflow car park at the neighbouring hotel is just a short walk away and worked well for me. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience."

"I was in room 5 and had a great stay. The room was huge with everything I needed for an overnight work visit. It was warm and cosy with a lovely spacious bathroom and nice shower. I had no difficulty securing a parking space"

"A lovely apartment right in the centre of Bowness-On-Windermere. The accommodation was spotless, cleaning spray, washing up liquid and cloths were provided. The bed was lovely and comfortable. People have mentioned the stairs up to the apartment. They caused us no problem but if people have mobility problems I can understand they might be a problem. If we return to the area we would stay here again. I am glad I didn’t book somewhere in Windermere, this was five minute walk to the lake. "
