Gardens were lovely. Great location & views across the water.
Scaffolding is unfortunate but the workers should have moved hoodies, drinks etc when not working.
Room was nice & staff fixed the leaking shower. Bed was comfy & breakfast food overall. £15 for parking is poor & I spent nothing in the hotel because of this. Would stay again.
Although the property was being externally renovated it did not detract from the feeling of being looked after, the staff were very polite and pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.
We had a great time . The staff were all very friendly, polite and extremely helpful . The bedroom we had (34) was beautiful & so were the corridors leading to it . Very Laura Ashley 😊
The breakfast was fantastic too. The view from the rooms were of scaffolding but will be beautiful I’m sure when fully updated . Would definitely visit again . If only you could control the weather . It rained the whole time . Thank you
Lovely stay for 2 nights. Staff lovely and professional. Really don't understand why residents have to pay £15 per day to park car at hotel.
Would deter me staying in future
Amazing room, kind helpful staff, nothing too much trouble

We visited in the middle of a refurbishment which wasn’t a major problem other than our lake view suite was obscured a bit by the scaffolding but we were told about this before our arrival. All the staff were lovely and welcoming as well as extremely helpful. We would definitely go back for another visit soon.
The staff at this hotel were amazing and so kind! Especially Moses who worked at the bar, very professional and polite!
The rooms were very clean and spacious. The hotel is under renovations at the moment, so there is scaffolding and the elevators do not work. But they were very good about letting me know ahead of time and offering to put us on the first floor if needed.
We would definitely come here again! Thank you to all of the staff! You guys are top notch!
This hotel is perfectly situated for anyone coming by public transport. Excellent bus and taxi service from train station to hotel. Even though our visit coensided with the refurbishment it didn't affect our stay. The staff were really friendly especially Ashley on reception who gave us a lot of advice on different places to visit and nothing was too much trouble a very valued member of staff also giacomo and mosses and jorden were really pleasant and friendly. We will definitely be visiting this hotel again.
It was a very pleasant place to stay on the way back from Scotland to the Midlands. The 'cosy' room was bigger than expected and of course very clean, the staff were friendly and efficient, the breakfast was excellent.
Thank you.
Overall pleasant stay in a cosy garden room.Bit of noise from surrounding rooms could hear next door quite clearly taps running doors opening and closing also dog barking on other side.Really disappointed on top of room rate had to pay £15 to park car surely the fact weve paid to stay in the hotel over other hotels in the area that should be a reward to park car for free just think for the price for 1 night £175 parking would be included lets look at the obvious 7 nights times 175 plus parking 7x190 is £1300 that equates to 7 nights in Cancan Mexico all inclusive is it any wonder people go abroad. Really think hotels in this country missed a a massive trick especially after covid with the Staycations instead of upping prices should have been reasonable and encouraged people to stay in this county keep money in our economy wish some hotel or major chain would challenge some of the major tour operators and say STAY HERE DONT GO ABROAD WE WONT RIP YOU OFF maybe instead of running at 60 to 70 percent occupancy in peak seasons and 30 to 45 in off peak you could encourage people to spend their money with reasonable prices and promotions and have a more regular occupancy. As a hotel obviously your bulk of trade relys on tourism but look just down the road you have a thriving shipyard with an abundance of people with ready cash perhaps looking for weekend breaks at reasonable prices just one example. I know i
will get the usual generic response but its just my observation i believe
