"Everything was perfect about the stay and the staff went above and beyond to let us check in late! However, it was shown on Expedia that we would be staying in the castle and that is under construction until 2029. Until then you have to stay in the townhouses - which were spectacular but it was not the castle, as advertised."

"Parking great with EV charging Staff helpful Breakfast lovely"

"Booked for a quick trip over to Ireland to visit a relative who lives nearby so the hotel was well located for what we were looking for. The hotel is set in landscaped grounds and is impressive when you drive in. Reception is nice and the staff most helpful. The rooms are large (executive twin) with a large single beds and sizeable bathroom with separate bath and walk in shower. Robes and slippers are a nice touch. The fixtures are a little dated but worked fine, furniture is quite badly scuffed...

"We had a wonderful stay at Castleknock Hotel. The staff were welcoming and attentive, the room was clean and well-kept, and the overall facilities (including the dining options and leisure areas) were very good. Breakfast was enjoyable and the location worked well for us.The only disappointment was the view from our room — it overlooked the trash receptacles outside. It was a bit of an eyesore when we looked out the window. Everything else about the stay was excellent, and that was truly the...

"Exquisite hotel- warm and welcoming."

"What an amazing stay at Carton House! Could not fault anything. We will be back next year."

"Overall, it is a nice hotel but we had some challenges with the amenities. It offered A/C which was a rare treat, but it only worked in one of the two rooms. We were excited to see ice machines, but couldn’t find one that worked. The tvs only got 7 channels and we had to call the office to get the room next to us to quiet down after being repeatedly woken up. The food and and drink at the restaurant were good and the place was clean and people friendly, but we were disappointed."

"Thank you"

"As ever The Glenroyal was excellent and we enjoyed our short stay"

"The staff are amazing, so helpful above and beyond. Accommodate any request , have traveled many places this was truly the best staff ever. Including the breakfast staff wonderful people. Went from Canada for a wedding, made our experience wonderful. Thanks Castle Arch!"

"Nice facility with restaurant and pub on site. Great breakfast."

"Interesting property. I stayed in one of the wings of the main house on the 1st floor. The room was fine (the artwork in the wings and bedrooms was very incongruent to the grandeur of the main house…), pillows were really thin, and they felt a bit dated but comfortable. The windows were really small. The main section of the house/public spaces were beautiful. One thing I found odd were the number of influencers there making content, perhaps for the new spa?"

"Our stay was amazing - the food was so delicious. We would highly recommend this place to stay while you visit Ireland - perfect driving distance to Dublin. They were also very helpful in letting us know things to see while in the area but also when we left headed to Limerick gave us excellent things to see on the way. The owner and staff went over and above 😁👍"

"Older style of hotel with incredible staff and excellent value for the money. Large lobby areas where we saw travelers and families with kids playing while adults enjoyed drinks from the in-house pub and conversation. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was top notch with staff brewing coffee and tea to order. Staff even took time to help us puzzle out complex travel situations."

"I really like the location"

"We fly in/out of Dublin several times a year. We like this property because although it is only about 10-15 mins from the airport, it feels like you are really in the country. So there is not that cramped and hassled feeling with so many of the airport hotels near DUB - tight parking, shuttle buses, airport noise etc. Roganstown Country House Hotel feels a bit like a respite. That being said, they could invest a little in the interior of the hotel. While our room was clean and comfortable,...
