Absolutely perfect. The hotel and grounds were beautiful, the lounge/bar and restaurant were great. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the bed was heavenly. Also, a huge thank you to the hotel for making sure my special request of extra pillows was waiting in our room upon our arrival. Plus, also having a small box of delicious chocolates in our room with a handwritten ‘Happy Birthday’ note attached to help us celebrate my husband’s birthday.

The spa was lovely, the service through out was a bit hit and miss but when it was good, it was great. My biggest challenge was the lack of sound proofing with the bedrooms - two of the four nights I stayed I was kept up by conversations had in the surrounding rooms.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about Dunboyne Hotel and Spa. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculate. Food was done to perfection. The Spa was everything you could want, all my aches and pains disappeared from long hours of driving. Putting the Cherry on the top they even left me a birthday card in my room handwritten .

The thermal spa pass was well worth it and I felt the spa area was well maintained. The room was spacious but a little run down. I appreciated the 2 still waters available in the room, the cozy robe, and the really nice toiletries. There were a ton of options at breakfast and it exceed me expectations as far as quantity. The staff was really professional, attentive, and kind. Overall a great last night in the area before flying out.

The hotel itself is very good...very quiet place..did not use the Spa but looked impressive. The breakfast was really good, I also dined in the 'Terrace' also good. Only thing was the 'Sadlier' bar was closed (on a Thursday) which I thought was strange given the hotel was fairly full. The room was very spacious , a little dated decor but nice nevertheless. I would return here.

Good service, breakfast was a bit slow and eggs not great. Rooms are good and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Sadly this place would be very good but no EV charge point is what drops it to one star for me. I find this inexcusable.

Hotel staff made the stay for my son and I. Went above and beyond for his 6th birthday and he felt like a king. Bed was comfy, room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Dinner in the terrace lounge did take quite a while to come, but was still nice. Breakfast was lovely. All in all a great stay and will definitely be back

Beautiful hotel and surroundings. Very clean. Very comfortable beds. Staff for breakfast were excellent both efficiency and friendliness. Unfortunately staff for dinner were extremely inefficient and unhelpful. We booked a table for 6 adults as advised at check-in, given a table to seat 4 adults. Leah found a table upstairs for 6 adults and we gave our order. 1 of our party had a severe allergy to nuts which staff was informed on taking our order. 1 hour later when we enquired about our food, another staff member told us that they could not serve one of the dishes as the chef had only seen the allergy. It took 1 hour 30 mins just to receive all our dinners. Very poor for such a prestigious hotel. Leah came to apologise and offered the food on the house. Amazed that dinner was so disorganised and staff are not trained on the severity of allergies in food.
