"When we arrived we saw immediately that the sofabed in the lounge was broken and could not be used to sit or sleep on, this was disappointing as it meant there were not enough beds for us all. We contacted the owner and the next day a chap arrived with an airbed. We requested that the sofa be replaced but that did not happen. "I stayed for two nights with my wife, bed and breakfast. We had one of the chalets out the back which was very clean and cosy. The facilities are first class and the staff were great. The food was superb, reasonably priced and large portions. The breakfast was very good with a ample choice."

"Do not stay here, it needs demolishing. If you are desperate for somewhere to sleep consider getting a sleeping bag and sleeping on the streets! It was a walk in, walk out and find another hotel scenario!"

"The thermostat to the radiators didn’t work so we couldn’t turn the temperature down and were therefore uncomfortably hot and got limited sleep. The mattress added to the lack of sleep as it was very uncomfortable. "We stayed in an upstairs courtyard room. The room was clean and well presented with the bedding fresh. All the staff that we interacted with were a credit to the hotel and nothing felt like too much trouble. We opted for breakfast each morning of our two night stay and the quality of the ingredients and service were a highlight of our visit. The experience was disappointing from arrival: waited ~15 minutes outside due to lack of staff support and found access confusing with multiple locks. The listing was misleading—what I expected to be a self-contained apartment had key facilities (sofas/TV) in a communal area, and the room itself was very small. "Room was clean and staff friendly. TV only had 2 channels that worked and when you flush the toilet the bedroom walls shook as if something was going to errupt from within. Breakfast was a disapointment and not worth. It was meant to serve until 10:30 but at 9am it was like locusts had attacked. Whilst hot food did eventually get restocked the pastries etc didnt. "

I was threatened with a cancellation without refund desite the fact they had not given me the opportunity to do what they asked.
