I must say that the hotel was beautiful, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Everyone we interacted with was very kind and welcoming. The only downside was the bed size. If you are around 188-190 cm tall, your feet may hang off the end of the bed. The hotel has more of a boutique feel, and the rooms have a somewhat classic, old-fashioned charm. However, the rest of the property is beautifully maintained and full of character. What we enjoyed most was the breakfast. The selection was excellent, with high-quality offerings including fresh fruit, freshly baked pastries, and a variety of cooked breakfast options. Everything was delicious and well prepared. The location is another major advantage. The hotel is very centrally located, making it easy to explore the city on foot in any direction. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in the middle of Barcelona. It is beautiful inside and the rooms are large and well arranged. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is awesome. We had a room with a very large terrace, which was so nice to have outdoor space to hang out in. The staff is amazing. Raffaella at the front desk is so sweet and helpful. The house staff is also very helpful. Jesselyn always has a big smile on her face! Every time I looked at her it cheered me up and made me happy. Rakia in the dining room is so efficient and helpful. She makes sure all the food stays fresh and replenishes each dish as soon as it needs. There was massive construction on the streets all over Barcelona, including right outside of the hotel. But you can still walk to many of the sights. There is a hugh shopping complex right across the street, with shops and plenty of food options.

We were greeted by friendly staff when we arrived, all of them were helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is in a good location, easy to get to from the airport via the Aerobús A1 to Placa España. Lots of restaurants & shops on the doorstep at the Arena de Barcelona. The breakfast was adequate everything you needed to start the day for sightseeing. All the communal areas area are lovely, very clean with quirky decor. Our room was a little less inspiring, nice design but a little tired in appearance and with a bit of a funny smell (not drains). Having said that the positives were it was reasonably spacious, provided for all our needs, it was quiet & we both slept well. Unfortunately we didn’t see the roof pool as it was raining during our stay not the hotel’s fault obviously. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

A very nice hotel. The only downside was the extremely loud roadworks going on outside the hotel, which started from 9am. Nothing the hotel or staff could do about it, but it was very loud, and seemed to be set for the long haul.

My wife and I stayed at Ofelias Hotel for six days while visiting Barcelona, and we really enjoyed our stay. The location was great, the hotel was very clean, and they cleaned our room every day. The lady working at the front desk during the day was absolutely amazing. I wish I could remember her name because she deserves the recognition. She was always so nice and welcoming, and it was a pleasure seeing her every morning. She really made us feel welcome. We also took advantage of the free bikes the hotel offered, which was a nice bonus and a great way to get around. There were just two things we were a little disappointed about. The AC in our room wasn’t working as well as it should, but the weather was pretty comfortable most of the time, so we didn’t think much of it until the last day when it got warmer. To be fair, we never reported it, so the hotel didn’t get a chance to fix it. We were also looking forward to spending some time on the rooftop and having a drink by the pool, but it looked like the rooftop pool area was under construction. This wasn’t mentioned to us beforehand, and it would have been nice to know since we were looking forward to using it. Other than those two things, we had a great stay. We loved the hotel and the area, and the staff made a great impression on us. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona and would stay here again!

Our first night was very uncomfortable because the AC in our room was not working. We reported it around 8 PM, but it could not be fixed that night and no alternative room was available. We were given a fan, but the room remained very warm, humid and poorly ventilated, and we barely slept until around 3 AM. We were moved to a room with working AC the next morning, but had to get up early and repack everything. The rest of our stay was fine, but we were disappointed that the hotel declined a partial refund for the first night and instead offered breakfast, which we did not use or accept as compensation. Also, the changed new room has congested sink, making your daily brush and cleaning very inconvenient... Suite was very old and not clean, I guess they spent all money on public areas to pretend they are actual 4-star, in fact I could not give them more than 2 star based in their suite condition....
