"I had an excellent experience at this hotel"

"Disappointing stay overall. Before arrival, I asked if the hotel could combine our rooms since we were traveling with small children. Not only was the request not accommodated, but they didn’t respond at all. The location is good (across from Taipei 101), but operations felt off. Breakfast was particularly frustrating, the line for the buffet at 6:30am was unexpectedly long and poorly managed. Service throughout the stay came across as inflexible and not very accommodating. Being charged for a basic dental kit also felt unnecessary given the overall experience. Overall, one of the least accommodating stays I’ve had at a Grand Hyatt."

"The room (Discovery one bed) is keep in an excellent conditon. The toilet is independent and the shower with bath tube by the side are very spacious. The room layout is very good that you feel a lot of space inside. The luggage storage space is good for placing one 30 in and one 20 in luggages. The hotel is near the train station where a lot of restaurants inside. Shopping mall and a lot of local restaurants are located nearby. I will book this hotel again when I come to Taipei."

"First visit to Taipei for a few nights stopping over before travelling to Ho Chi Minh, other parts of Vietnam and Cambodia. walkable area feels safe, very helpful staff, will not be visiting Taipei again as it is not as compelling a city as other Asian cities we have travelled to, but I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel."
