"Obviously the hotel is undergoing massive renovations and I’m sure it will be incredible when finished- but be aware right now that your view in the summer of 2026 might be of a building site and the bathrooms for the pool are like portapotties and very substandard. "The location was perfect for our last 2 nights in Ireland; it is close to Trim and an easy drive into Dublin Airport. The gardens are beautiful and lovely to walk through. Killeen Castle and abbey are intriguing and can only be viewed from their exterior, but still amazing to see. Down the street is Dunsany Castle and tours are only available in the summer.
