"The hotel general condition of the hotel and pool has gone downhill significantly in the past 4 years since our last stay. The room itself was fine and in good condition but everywhere else looked tired and needed a refresh. The pool changing rooms were especially poor. The bar was really overcrowded in the evening to the point we gave up trying to find a table and headed straight to our room. "

"This hotel is in the centre of the town. Car park is tiny and narrow and difficult to manoeuvre. I hit the end of my car on a ramp. Otherwise a lovely stay. "

"I came to Ireland to visit my daughter who was studying at Maynooth University. The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect. So many restaurants & shops close by. The breakfast that was included with our stay was so very delicious & had a great variety of foods! I highly recommend the Glen Royal!!"

"Room was ok, but they were running out of food an hour before closing time, which is not good when people want to have a lie in and have a late breakfast. It happened on 2 days out of the 3 we were there."
