"We are older travelers and they put us too far away from lobby bar restaurant in main entrance big walk for us. The hot tub was broke for us stay. We were on the floor with tons of children hard for us to sleep. The staff was courteous and kind food was very much acceptable who we booked through Expedia. They told us this hotel was downtown Dublin. It was 20 minutes into town. The hotel itself was acceptable for the price."

"I had stayed here in hope that the four stars was a good sign. On the first day I ordered food from the hourglass bar and restaurant. They brought my starter and main course out at the same time they then took the main back and instead of cooking my steak fresh for when I wanted it they reheated the original one which made the steak very chewy and unpleasant. I then used the restroom to the left of the lobby and it was a mess (I have taken pictures). My room was supposed to be a superior queen bed… it was a double bed. The bathroom door had obviously been broken down and was held back together with screws which I caught my coat on. The shower was dirty and the cleaning overall was below a three star standard. I believe that the four stars that it has on the building was from a while ago as the standards set this weekend was a more of a two star. I will not be staying there again. The price was really high for this when I could get a budget hotel with the same standard"

"Our 4 night stay was thoroughly enjoyed, especially during our sessions booked in the Spa. The breakfasts were very good and we had a lovely evening meal in the Bar, where Staff were especially friendly and helpful. The July downside was our experience in The Ivy Restaurant where, on a Saturday night, it was incredibly noisy. After sitting at pur table for 5 minutes, being unable to hear ourselves think, let along hear ourselves speak, we decided to make our apologies and left, going to The Bar downstairs to eat instead. Advice: there are specialist Companies who can help with your noise problem in The Ivy Restaurant; noise absorption and noise reduction Specialists. Instead of the noise from talking bouncing off and around so many hard surfaces, until it becomes unbearable, there are simple things like adding materials to Decor to absorb sound. We would not choose to eat in The Ivy Restaurant, unless noise reduction improvements were made."

"Always clean and welcoming. Staff are punctual and friendly. We took advantage of the yummy breakfast buffet every morning. The pool and spa are very nice! "
