"Area around hotel not the best. Glad we were not there at weekend, but hotel felt very secure. The locked, very expensive , underground parking. Lifts that required a room key to use them gave a good feeling of security. Good aircon , plenty of hot water and a comfortable bed made for a good stay. I judge a hotel on its towels and these were large, thick, very white bath sheets. 10/10 Breakfast was good with choice of hot and cold dishes, make your own waffles, and fruit. Very...

"Stayed at the Orchid over the bank holiday. We had a heatwave and was thankful the rooms had Air Con! Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. One room very nice, had queen bed maybe that was executive. Other room was a little small and did have some stains on the carpet, needed touching up. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Hotel foyer and bar done very nicely and a pretty courtyard area. Have to pay for parking but it’s a great location and parking is a nightmare in Bournemouth. 5-10 min...

"Great location, less than 30 seconds to the quay. Room had everything you'd expect from a b&b. Fabulous breakfast, there was even an option of standard or large size! Would stay again if we're in the area. Friendly, welcoming host."

"A gen of a stay! We had the "Crab Apple" room, at the rear of the building, on first floor over top of the kitchen (?). Very quiet apart from the rattling bath exhaust fans of the room. Apparently those can be switched off, but we never found the switch. No other sounds st all in the room. Comfy bed, good cooked breakfast, and great staff. We also enjoyed an excellent evening meal in the very good on-site restaurant. Easy walk to the nearby art gallery and to the beaches."

"From peeling wallpaper to worn out fabrics and cheap pillows … the bathroom was new though … breakfast times were 9:00 to 9:30 😵‍💫 race on for that one … But staff helpful and great location…. But the whole place needs an uplift "

"We did enjoy our stay at Harbour Heights, although parts of the hotel feel a little tired and in need of some updating. Unfortunately, some members of staff could also benefit from further customer service training, as at times we felt more like an inconvenience than valued guests. The terrace and the view are absolutely stunning and were definitely the highlight of our stay. However, it was disappointing that guests were not allowed to have meals on the terrace, and there was no waiter service...
