"A lovely old grade 2 listed house. Excellent location for Poole Quay and harbour. Parking in visitor’s public car park just across the road. Overnight parking is very reasonable. David was a fabulous host with plenty of stories to tell and the house is full of interesting “stuff” that he has collected. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. Our room on the second floor was very small and hot, but the others are bigger. Best to ask David before you book. Would definitely stay again."

"Very nice, me and 3 friends came to stay and the beds were comfy and it was a really nice room, there isn’t a bathroom or shower in the room so keep that in mind but it does say that in description. And my only point was there was a smoky smell outside the room but the room smelt fine, so in case your sensitive to smoky smells. But the room was well ventilated and the fan was a nice touch. The owner was lovely super kind and helpful!"

"Fabulous modern Miami themed hotel the beds are super comfortable and Aircon which is very much needed this weekend. The staff was so friendly and helpful proper service with a smile and all very engaging. Fabulous view of the sea and a gorgeous pool. My only criticism was filling the kettle in the modern sink difficult !"

"Great location, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, nice toiletries and great selection of coffee and teas. Great food and drinks available onsite. Ideas for improvement- larger fridge, the fridge is tiny - other than the free water that is provided you can’t fit anything more in there. Robes would be nice as well as body lotion or hand cream in the bathroom."

"For a midweek night away or to be fair anytime away you can’t go wrong with Derby Manor. The rooms are excellent tidy and cleaned. The staff go over and above to ensure you have a wonderful stay. The breakfast caters for all dietary requirements so you will not go hungry. Would I go back again In. Heartbeat."

"Building and hotel were great. Very impressive. Staff were very helpful. Room was very clean and great services. Outdoor pool was very clean and warm with the weather. Breakfast seemed a bit unorganized. Bar was well stocked. Parking for guest was very limited and the parking lot was very small."
