"The accommodation was of a very high standard and the staff excellent at helping me with secure entrance to the building/ room. Bus stop into town is very close by.
There are no public rooms, so it's more like an apartment building than a hotel. As a lone traveller, I felt a bit isolated - no staff after 9 pm and my phone wouldn't work - but as accommodation, everything was first rate ."
"It’s our second time staying at this property. It’s convenient, clean & overall a nice place to stay. As soon as you enter, it smells nice and fresh. The rooms are a good size, generally clean. You can’t hear any outside noise, or from other rooms. You can hear people walking through the corridor but that’s expected (it wasn’t bad at all). The staff were very polite and helpful.

"Everything from when we entered to checkout was perfect. The building is unique and landscape is beautiful. Rooms are bigger than the standard European hotels. Service was excellent! Walking distance to everything. One of the best experiences I’ve had this trip. Must stay when in Oxford. "
"Altes Haus mitten im Stadtzentrum mit 3 wunderschön renovierten Zimmern, die nur über enge, steile Treppen zu erreichen sind. Badezimmer ist im Detail etwas schludrig gemacht, aber insgesamt sehr schön.
Parking findet sich im nahegelegenen Westgate-Einkaufszentrum, keine 5 Minuten entfernt.
Wermutstropfen: WiFi ist unbenutzbar - 50 KB/s reicht nicht mal zum einfachen Surfen. Wer vom Hotelzimmer aus arbeiten muss, hat schlechte Karten, denn das GSM-Netz vor Ort ist auch nicht besser."

Hotel is lovely, fantastic decoration and design, so much to look at it was really fun and quirky. So quirky that for breakfast a toy train runs around the breakfast room.
The room was lovely (105) however the double glazing was rubbish and we heard all of the cars going past which woke us early.
You can park up, pay and leave your car there and get buses into town centre.
