On the plus side good location
It’s very central and convenient for setting Oxford on foot. Nicely renovated room, quiet at night even though it was a Saturday. Slight hitch with the code to get in but this was resolved with a phone call.
Henry's location off the main traffic streets but easily walkable to all points makes it the perfect location. The building is very secure. Just know our unit was up many steps and no lift, but we would definitely stay here again.
Henry's location is excellent. And the accommodation is OK. It's a bit tired around the edges (mould in the shower, windows not cleaned for several years, etc.) But OK. We missed the little things, like not being able to store our bags anywhere safe.
We enjoyed our stay at Henry's very much. The room was clean, well kept and convenient to the central part of Oxford. There are only 4 rooms, and no desk or staff on site, but we called the number with questions and a real person answered and was very helpful. This stay was close to the train station and very centrally located for touring Oxford or finding good pubs.

The building itself was unique and had lots of character. The room itself was good and had all you would need for a short stay. The location was incredibly convenient for visiting Oxford. However, there were multiple issues. There was mold in the shower and there was dust on the sheets. The shower drain only allowed you to shower for 3-4 minutes at a time because the drain was so slow and the shower basin would fill up. Check in information was given, but there was no checkout information and the company was unresponsive with all attempts to contact- I had to leave the keys in the room because I had no idea what else to do. Outside the location was noisy. Not sure I would recommend to anyone in the future.
My room was spacious and well-equipped, and the hotel is in a terrific location - quiet and convenient for everything. My stay couldn't have been better. I will definitely base myself here again next time I'm in Oxford.
Very central, on a beautiful street. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. Huge room (room 2)

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. We got the third level room and it was nice and served its purpose. My only complaint with the room was that the bathroom absolutely reeked of mold. Other than that, the location was great, very walkable, and we enjoyed our stay (other than the terrible mold smell).

Not sure what to say
Safe didn't work, there was no room turnover, fridge contained an empty beer bottle, and there was a cockroach in the bathroom (never seen a cockroach in the UK before). The room door didn't deadlock, or lock from the inside. Quaint and in a good location though.
A comfortable stay, it was lovely having a table and having a few plates and things as well as a fridge. It has been well thought out and was easy to access and it felt secure. Some noise from the upstairs apartment but they weren’t too noisy
We loved our stay here - very nicely furnished and lots of extras to make the stay both comfortable and seamless - hairdryer, iron/ironing board, fridge, wine glasses, bottle opener, coffee maker, table and chairs - really well thought about.
If it can be improved in nay way it would be to have just slightly longer shower screen so that you don't soak the bathroom floor so much!
In all, a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Great central location, no parking mind but we used the "just park" app and parked on somebody's driveway for £36 for two nights, just a seven-minute walk away.
Beautiful house in the old town, historic place - but with modern comfort (new Bathroom, cozy bed ...). They did a great job restoring it! We had a tiny kitchen with fridge, tea/coffee, a sitting room and there even was a fan.
We didn't get the welcome email, but we just gave them a call and everything was handled perfectly. If you have problems with stairs, you should know there are two sets, the last quite narrow, because it's an old house. We would love to stay here again - highly recommend!
We did not interact face-to-face with owner or staff, but enough info. was given in an email for us to get in and settled. We called the phone number with questions, and spoke to someone who was courteous and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage on site before check-in time and again on check-out day. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Central location, convenient to all the places in Oxford we wanted to get to.
Location was very good. Access was secure. Mini fridge was helpful.Bath towels were nice size. Lighting was fine.
Coffee maker leaked when turned on, hot water pot old and deteriorated, needs replacing. bath sink drains a bit slow.
Room temp couldn't be regulated. Shower water temp too hot, could not be lowered and no one to call to service or discuss situation.
As advised there is no reception at this hotel however I didn’t receive an email to advise key location or door code. This was very inconvenient but made better because of the help from the neighbouring bicycle repair shop people and Bart from the “Handle Bar” restaurant next door. A big shout out of thanks to those folks for their help. Everything else about the Hotel is good, great location, comfortable, cosy and quaint. If stairs are a problem this is not the hotel for you. Wifi is weak.
Henry’s was a great place to stay right near the center of Oxford. You have to have a code to get in the door. My one problem was that I didn’t get an email with the code prior to my visit, which made it hard to get in. I was able to call them and got the code and from them on, it was perfect. The room had a small kitchenette (nowhere to heat food, but a small fridge and sink) and some basic supplies. There was a bedroom and sitting room and bathroom so it felt easy to be ‘at home’ there. It’s right in town, so there was noise until about 2 am some nights. I did not mind that. If you’re looking for a comfortable, convenient, in-town place, this is a great one.
