"The guesthouse is literally across the street from the hotel - so going there to check in is no issue. There is a flight of stairs to access the guesthouse. Since we arrived at 6am after our flight from the US - reception was kind enough to allow us to do a late check out. Breakfast was already being served at 6 am so that was also a great bonus. "

"Location is excellent right in the middle of Reykjavik. Plenty to do and see in the area. Everything was as the host said and it was a wonderful stay for my husband and me. Other people there were very considerate and quiet. We shared the bathroom and the kitchen. There is no breakfast offered. There is no luggage storage offered, but there are very reliable walkers a four minute walk away. I will definitely stay there again if I have the opportunity. "Incredible location! We were right across the street from the giant Hallgrímskirkja church and were able to walk to all of the things to see and do in Reykjavik. That church was also the pickup spot for all of our day trip tours around the rest of the country, so it couldn't have been any more convenient. We were able to walk a block for coffees and pastries before getting our 8am buses each morning. Room, shared bathrooms and common spaces were all clean and welcoming!"

"Situated in a quiet neighborhood, this guesthouse has ample parking and a very nice cafe with a full lunch and dinner menu, bar and fresh made bakery items as well. The shower/sink /toilet areas were clean, bedding was very comfortable. The building, public lounges and rooms all felt safe. There are plenty of lockers to lock up extra belongings and a few outdoor spaces to enjoy some fresh air and conversation. "

Will note, you share a bathroom with other guests, but it’s a clean bathroom so I wasn’t concerned. Thank you management for a nice stay!"

"Lovely clean little room in a good location and at a good price. We opted for a room with a separate bathroom and used the shard kitchen a little for drinks. About a 20 min walk into town but it does not feel that long."
