"Country location. Staff were great. Property going through a managed decline as far as decor etc, if honest we wouldn’t go back. Restaurant closed on 2nd night of our half board stay, a member of staff cooked us a meal it wasn’t a meal we would have chosen, a take it or leave it, but we were the only ones fed. The bar was also closed, others had to make their own arrangements. I was told Staff were off that night as required to work at a event the next day."

Negatives: they place a Nescafé dolce gusto machine in the room for which they provide only two cups. "This hotel is in a great location, breakfast was amazing and afternoon tea a lovely touch, however we had room 10 which was above reception and the hotel entrance so was quite noisy with people returning early hrs and delivery’s being dropped off some days before 6am, we did speak to reception but unfortunately they had no rooms free to move us, I would return to this hotel however I would request a room at the back. If you are a deep sleeper I’m sure you would have no problems. Staff friendly...

"Lovely hotel and staff. Right outside is the tram into the old town which for us was a blessing. Used every day of stay. Pool area was nice and bar outside. Lovely barman very helpful and polite. Food we had one evening was delicious. Front desk staff very welcoming and helpful. Nothing not to like about Occidental. Seville was superb and friendly. Fantastic 5 days here and I look forward to coming back in the future."
