"The room was great, very spacious. We had the studio king suite. Patio/ balcony was super cute. Carroll was very friendly & helpful as was the young lady who worked the reception & Luis, the security was great, too. Beautiful boutique hotel with the cutest little coffee shop. "The bed was so comfortable and the king suite was huge like an apartment. We loved this hotel on a pedestrian-only street in San Ignacio. The hotel provided free water and had a well stocked kitchen for light cooking and reheating. 10/10 would stay here again. Close walk to farmers market and many restaurants."

"I stayed in a King Deluxe room at thought it was great value. The staff were all excellent, the hotel restaurant was great and the pool was large. Plus, the location was ideal (close enough to walk to the market / downtown but removed enough to be quiet) and there's a large grocery store directly across the street if you want snacks / sunscreen etc. I would certainly stay at Midas Belize again."

"We enjoyed our time here! Our family of five stayed comfortably in the “one room family suite” which had a mini fridge and a microwave. The grounds have beautiful landscaping and the pool is very nice. This was a great spot for a home base while exploring all the ruins. "

"We stayed at their family villa. The house was clean, and it was a wonderful experience. Rose and her son Rodale were so kind and helpful. Rod showed us around the family land and the farm, and we drank fresh coconut water. We ate local foods prepared in a lovely setting on the property. We hope to be back some day. "For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us."
