"My wife and I spent 5 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa in April, 2024. The room and beach were great. The facility itself is enormous, far more so than I had realized when I booked our stay. It's a Marriott, so expect meals to be priced double (or triple) what you might pay at nearby (and far less fancy) restaurants; indeed, meals were priced a good bit higher than what we had paid at similar or nicer hotels in Seam Reap, Bangkok and Hanoi. Perhaps the absence of high end...

"The hitel is great, ita perfect for family and kids. We had access pool and that was one of the best room in Thailand. The staff was nice but not so useful, we try to ask thung in the restaurants and they make a face. The other stuff was very nice and helpful "

"Lovely theming! The grounds need a rethink - replace worn grass in high foot traffic areas with paving so that guests don’t end up with dirty feet, dirty sun lounges and dirty pool towels. Have a pool side towel service. Provide more sun lounges. The breakfast area was crowded and busy and breakfast was average. The restaurants however were good. Pizza at Sunnee Terrace was amazing. "If I could permanently live at Little Shore I would! The property is brand new and we stayed in a villa during their soft opening, so there was still construction going on. Because it is a new property there are still some minor kinks to work out, but the service is absolutely immaculate! The A/C in our bathroom had very poor air flow, so it was a bit warm at times. They offered to move us to a different room, but it wasn't that big of a deal to us so we declined. They placed a portable A/C unit...

"The hotel does not have the '5-star wow factor' that other hotels further up the coast do, however the staff and location more than make up for this. It is located on a nice quiet stretch of the beach (that is not affected too much by the tide), and within a short walk to the small town which has many good restaurants and a few bars. The hotel was modern and clean with 5 good sized pools. The only downside was the sliding glass doors in the bathroom and the lack of sunbeds by the adult pool...

"NOT AN ADULT ONLY HOTEL! it's a very family oriented hotel with one small adult only bit at the back. You still have to deal with screaming children and absent-minded parents at the breakfast buffet everyday. Don’t say it’s adults only. It's really big so you have to get around on a golf cart.
