"Hotel is located right near the train station and in walking distance of loads of places such as Utillia Arena, St James Park, Metro Centre is only a 10 minute drive. Bar and restaurant area was really nice, beds were comfortable. I really recommend if you’re looking to go and sight see or into going out drinking."

"Shower facilities
- they don’t provide conditioner
-when I tried to use the shower it was either scalding and the temperature didn’t alter with the controls, or no water at all came out from the shower head, only the bath taps - so couldn’t shower at all during the stay
Lifts
One of the lifts was out of order during the stay for refurbishment which left long queues and delays trying to get the lift down with the one functioning lift - on several occasions I had to walk all the way down,...

I'm disappointed with our recent hotel experience. We booked a relaxing birthday trip for my wife, but the hotel was crowded with unmanaged children and noisy guests. The pool was unmonitored, and my wife was injured by a ball. The staff seemed overwhelmed and didn't manage the crowd effectively. Expected better service from Marriott and plan to raise this issue with them. "
