"Perfect location for visiting Matsumoto. Close to the station and the Castle. Seems its right in the midst of town surrounded by a variety of dining options. Service is top notch. Staff is very friendly too!"

"The room was lovely and more spacious than others we’ve stayed at. Staff was wonderful and the breakfast buffet had a nice variety of foods, Japanese curry, rice, scrambled eggs, sausage as well as croissants with butter and jam, pain au chocolat and the coffee was good 😊"

"Really enjoyed the stay. It was comfy and the included breakfast was tasty, changing the main items every morning. All my needs were met and easy to access. Made it easy for us to do day trip to Kamikochi."

"Good stay at the hotel. The Japanese rooms were amazing and we had a great vegetarian kaiseki dinner and really enjoyed the onsens. Would defintely recommend staying at this hotel. Only issue is transport to the location is a bit difficult if you don't have a car. We were aware of this and messaged ahead to ask about the availability of the hotel shuttle bus to the bus stop for our departure. Unfortunately, when we arrived the receptionist was unaware they had a shuttle bus and was very unwilling to check the information we were given or even help us sort out alternative travel. It led to a bit of a concerning situation for our travel plans before another staff memeber corrected her and arranged our transport."

"It’s all about dogs there. Love how the Japanese love their furkids. Hygiene measures, dog runs, dog onsen with humans, dogs can access everywhere in this hotel, even the restaurants."
