"Lovely small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The continental breakfast was lovely. Our only complaints were how hot the rooms were( a/c never cooled it down and window barely cracked open). It would be unbearable in the summer and they tended to only give us two small towels. Had to get extras every day. Overall, I would stay here again but in cooler months. "

"Location is great - close to Paddington Station and lots of restaurants. Staff was friendly, pleasant and helpful. The breakfast selection was good. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Rooms are much smaller than what we are used to in the US, but adequate. No microwave or fridge, no ice machine."

"I love the fact that booking and checking in is always so quick and easy. No fuss. The room is always spotless - looks as if it has never been used! And so quiet. Wonderful. Staff on reception always very friendly and efficient. Breakfast is fabulous. Only complaint is regarding the supper dining area. "The location was excellent. Easy two block walk to the Bayswater tube station on the circle line. Easy to hail a cab. Many great restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. The rooms were very clean though the beds were very hard. I asked about changing rooms to get a different bed and was given a mattress topper, which helped slightly. Breakfast was great. It's optional but worh it. "

"I have used this hotels several times before. I like the fact that it is in Terminal 3 and is conveniently located just as you exit Arrivals. It’s useful for me to spend the night there after a long flight before I continue my journey to South Wales the next morning. "

"Almost walking distance from T3. But the bus stop is in front of hotel and just 6min to and from T3 for just under $2 The best breakfast in town; top quality and very complete. The rooms are super quiet, clean and the TV programming is excellent. Everything time I have a long layover in London Heathrow I stay in this nice hotel. "

"Excellent breakfast though I recommend just paying instead of opting if you’re only there from a few days it is very clean and the area around is very clean with only a few seedy individuals as well as plenty of pubs to try also only a 10 minute walk to the tube "

"My daughter and I recently returned from a 7 night stay. The Mitre House is everything we wanted. I read the reviews extensively before booking and we were prepared. The Mitre House is excellent value! - First and foremost the location can't be beat. The proximity of Paddington Station and Hyde Park is very convenient. - The breakfast was fantastic and the lovely staff were a delight each morning. It was so easy to eat a full English breakfast in the hotel before heading out for the day. ...
