"The AC in room only got the bathroom and entry way cold we had it set on 65 and could not feel the AC in the bed. The hot water in shower was hard to control and could not get it hot"

"Great location by campus and close to downtown. The staff was super helpful and friendly. A+!. Plenty of amenities for what the hotel is designed for. No full time restaurant but ope for breakfast and dinner."

"Stayed in this fun hotel for one night on our way to Charlotte. It’s right downtown and very close to UT Knoxville. Walked across the street to a fun restaurant. Staff was super helpful, hotel was very clean. The rooftop bar is a must as the views are good and it’s a fun place to hang out. I highly recommend staying here."

"The hotel is a cool concept and really gets into the vibe of Rocky Top. However, for the price per night ($540!) I expected more. The showers were dirty, the window air unit was a total nightmare and whistled ALL NIGHT LONG to the point none of us slept. There was no water for sale at the desk, only coke and beer. The parking is a bit challenging, as you have to drive down an alley to get to the hotel and then do a 20pt turn to get into the check in area. I felt sorry for Valet because they had NO place to put the cars. Overall, it was fine - hence my 3 star rating - but prob won’t stay here again. "

"Breakfast was great lots of choices. Walking distance to UTK. Parking was extra on site. Felt very safe. Walked downtown very convenient. However I found a pubic hair on the wall of shower! Also found hair ties in the floor. The heating/cooling unit on wall had a smell when turned on and it was filthy inside. We didn’t use it for this reason. We were exhausted from traveling all day so I let it slide. Would definitely ask for a different room next time."

"Had to wait while person finished their text on phone before being greeted. Was told I could park my own car but couldn’t. Room was at end of building. Could hear every car and emergency sirens that passed by"

"Nice hotel in a great spot for all things downtown. Would stay there again. Felt very safe. Disappointed the bistro and starbucks/bar were unavailable 10:30-5:30pm because the food was fantastic and the hotel coffee bar that is included with breakfast was promptly stripped once breakfast was over... or earlier. Room was very clean, and I liked the setup with a separate bedroom because so much light pours through the gap under the door to the hall with the lights on all night in the hall. Shower soaked the bathroom floor if I didn't completely block it with my body, so be careful getting out. There was also a dip in the mattress on my side, but I think the other side was ok. We checked in after midnight, and the concierge staff were kind and helpful at all hours. The lady cleaning up breakfast has no concept of hospitality as she was clearly bothered we didn't have our breakfast plated earlier. She had pulled the coffee creamer and was breaking down breakfast before the end time, and then proceeded to tell us it was after the end time..several times. After she cleaned up the food area, she warned us she was ready to clean the table area where we were sitting and another man was doing work on his computer. We did come at the end of breakfast, but were weren't late. That was disappointing. Hotel garage was convenient. "
