"We’ve been away for a month and this is the best hotel. Roof bar with a view over the Peace Park and a superb Italian restaurant on the ground floor were so nice. It has been really well thought through. The reception staff are great and helped us plan the next part of our trip. Really genuine and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful and the girl making pizzas does such a fantastic job. We were so impressed we booked another stay in the Knot, Fukuoka. One small piece of feedback is that the free drinks are a lovely touch but could be served in glass not plastic."

"Amazing hotel. Categorized as 3-star but lives up to 5-star reputation. Brand new. Elegant Japanese design. Big rooms. Comfortable beds. Excellent service. Just across from the ferry port that takes you to Miyajima island. Might be a bit far from central Hiroshima, but its advantages outweigh this single disadvantage. Very much recommend!"

"Had a very enjoyable stay. Staff was always kind and helpful. Location was excellent-just across the road from the ferry terminal. Facilities were excellent-like new, and the amenities were more than expected-lounge ware, slippers and room also had a massage chair."

"Room was spacious, clean and air conditioned / temperature controlled with lots of natural light, as well as plenty of options for internal lighting. I was in room 602 and had a wonderful view of the ocean and Otori gate. The best part about the view is the bath which is placed at the end of the room Infront of the window so you get to see the Otori while relaxing in a hot bath."

"Terrible smell as smoking is allowed in the middle of the entrance lobby. Also, the smallest and outdated bathroom facilities. Check-in staff was most helpful, but when we asked to call a taxi upon departure, we were given a card with a telephone number… When we explained that we don’t speak Japanese and the taxi company certainly doesn’t speak English… they very reluctantly called for us… Troubling to say the least! Other than that, the location is perfect if you want to visit the museum and drop-off site."
