"The best hotel I have stayed at in Japan.
Very easy check in/out.
The lobby has continuous free goodies and drinks for guests.
They keep several amenities in big trays for guests to take.
Room was very comfortable.
Staff is very friendly.
Breakfast is amazing. "
"Located right across from the ferry terminal, it's very convenient. Room is very spacious and the free drinks corner consists of coffee, tea, hot chocolate and soft drinks. Breakfast and dinner (half board) are pretty nice too. The onsen is on the small side though. "
"Hotel was easily walkable from the ferry with a little hill at the very end. Very nice room and super nice staff. The Ryokan had more of a corporate feel but still nice. If I were to plan my trip to Japan all over I wouldn't spend the night on Miyajima and would instead just make the island a long day trip. This was my most expensive hotel of my two week trip and while nice, clean, and a good traditional breakfast I don't think it was worth the money."
"Shuttle for bags during the day and a shuttle to get you to the hotel later that day was excellent.
Room was beautiful and peaceful. Food was fantastic as were all of the staff! "
"In room onset with a view over looking the ocean!! This hotel was a highlight of our trip to Japan. We had the in room dinning experience which was beyond expectations. Food quality and presentation were excellent. Accommodations and amenities exceeded expectation's. "
"This hotel is very conveniently located near the ferry station, making it ideal for visiting Miyajima early in the morning or later in the evening, away from the crowds. Miyajimaguchi itself is also a pleasant area to relax and enjoy good seafood. The room was clean, efficient and cozy, and the staff were very kind and helpful. A lot of amenities provided. I also discovered buckwheat pillows here for the first time and absolutely loved them — I will definitely look into getting one back home!
