"For our one-night stay in Kandy, this hotel was the perfect base, centrally located and easy to get around from. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our room was comfortable and well-appointed. We were also pleased with the variety on offer at both breakfast and dinner buffets, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. "The room assigned to us initially was down a flight of stairs with no elevator. THe Air Conditioner did not work. As a result we had to move rooms. Overall we were happy with the stay besides a couple of set-backs."

"Just an excellent, excellent stay from start to finish in this historic Colonial building. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and the team really just was top notch and really cared about quality of food. The loft was a hit with the kids and the fine correction of loose tea was very much appreciated. We only stayed one night due to our itinerary, but would have loved to have stayed longer. The kids dipped their legs in the pool, but also didn't have the chance to swim due to time constraints....

"When I was there, some maintenance were going on also that’s one of the oldest PROPERTIES in Kandy city so you have to get some leverage. Otherwise I’m satisfied."

"This is an excellent property at a beautiful location with great views. The breakfast I had here was one of the better ones I had in SL. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The rooms were clean and spacious. The only thing I will mention is getting to this place is through a km of very narrow hilly road. Trust your driver and hopefully you do not have too big of a car. Once you get here, the view and the resort is worth it. Minimize the up and down trips to city of Kandy from here if you...

"The hotel was nice for us as a family. The hotel itself is ok not amazing but it had a nice pool (NOT the 8 pools advertised on expedia) but we could see from pics this seemed unlikely. The view from our room was really poor of other hotels or a derelict housing area which as on a massive hill is a shame. Staff lovely as per normal. The rooms were a little old but ok. The breakfast was not buffet as not enough people staying there. Which is fair enough but we could order what we wanted and it...
