"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Wonderful Stay at The Leaf on The Sands by Katathani — Khao Lak I am currently staying at The Leaf on The Sands by Katathani in Khao Lak, and I have enjoyed my experience here so much that I still have another two weeks of my stay ahead of me. After spending time here, I can honestly say that this is one of those places where you quickly feel comfortable and at home. 🌿 PEACEFUL, QUIET & BEAUTIFUL The first thing that stands out is the atmosphere. The resort is surrounded by beautiful tropical trees and gardens, creating a peaceful little oasis in Khao Lak. Even though you are close to the restaurants, shops, and everything happening around Khao Lak, the resort itself is remarkably quiet and relaxing. That is something I really appreciate. There is no need to rush. You can have breakfast, take a walk through the gardens, relax by the pool, and simply enjoy the day. 🍳 THE BREAKFAST IS VERY GOOD I have really enjoyed the breakfast here. The food is tasty, there is a good selection, and it is a very pleasant way to start the morning. A good breakfast, followed by a quiet morning around the resort, is a great way to enjoy Khao Lak. 😊 THE STAFF ARE EXCELLENT One of the biggest reasons I have enjoyed my stay is the staff. They are very polite, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. You can tell when people genuinely care about providing good service, and I have experienced that here. The staff have made me feel comfortable throughout my stay, and I appreciat"

"We really loved our stay at The Sands. The staff were fabulous, the hotel was immaculate and it was all really well thought-out with everything you could need in one place. We would definitely come back to The Sands. The only area that could possibly be improved was the breakfast. Sometimes food - particularly fruit and yoghurt was left uncovered, which attracted flies and put me off eating there."

"This hotel is very good. Clean rooms, Beautiful breakfast. Private pool access (I had the room with pool access). The main pool, which is near the sea, is big and convenient. The beach is wonderful. The sea was a bit wavy, but I think when there is no wind, it has to be amazing!. The personnel are very polite. Everybody says "Hello" and sends a beautiful smile. Wonderful place for a quiet vacation."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Merlin - in fact we are still here as we extended our stay with the hotel because we decided we didn’t need to go anywhere else for a truly magical and relaxing stay. We feel immersed in nature - surrounded by incredibly beautiful trees and we saw a slow loris during our night tour! The pools are so lush with vegetation all around them - we spent hours just milling around in what felt like a jungle pool, complete with waterfalls! The staff are all so lovely and super attentive, but with the most relaxed and easy going manner. I found myself quite envious of the people who work here - they honestly seem to be very happy in their work and well looked after. We didn’t go all inclusive and slightly regret that, as it wasn’t a lot more on top and means that, even if you only eat here half the time, it will probably be worth it. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back! Thank you so much everyone at Merlin - we will see you again as soon as possible! 😊"
