A great place to visit !

Most of the staff were very young with limited English. They were though all very nice and tried their upmost. Room was good in fact for the price better than expected. Breakfast was plentiful and good variety Golf course condition could be a bit better but the layout , caddys and general experience superb . We really enjoyed our stay here will definitely return and some minor attention to detail this place would be fantastic

Schönes Ressort mit wunderbaren Zimmern und ordentlicher, traumhafter Anlage. Toller Blick auf den Golfplatz, den man leider nur als Golfer betreten kann. Die Wege sind als Spaziergänger nicht nutzbar. Jedoch gibt es vor dem Hotel gute Spaziermöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück und das Essen sind sehr gut und preislich für ein solches Hotel angemessen.

Quiet hotel not only for golfind

Nice stay also when you are not there for the golfing. Location is approx. 20 minutes form Phang-Nga which makes it a quiet area which is good if you want to have some quiet time.

Beautiful quiet getaway

Katathong Resort itself is situated in an absolutely gorgeous valley about 15 minutes from Phang Nga town. The hotel is updated, clean, and extremely comfortable; the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurant leaves much to be desired; the food was mediocre at best. To make matters worse, unless you have a car to get into town, it is the only food option. If the restaurant were better, there would be no need to leave the property. If you like to golf, this is the place for you. If you want a place to relax for 1-2 days, it’s a great option.
