Best Western hotels in Vientiane

"Overall the hotel was good. Nice room with an excellent shower. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Pool was nice with loungers, but some tile needed fixing and pool water could be a bit cleaner. The downfall for us, was the soundproofing, especially for a newer hotel. Could hear people in the rooms beside us, and one night after midnight had to bang on wall because of the noise. Also, in the mornings you could hear the cleaning staff talking in the hallways and rolling their carts down the hall. Also, breakfast was ok, but nothing to right home about. Would be nice to have yogurt with the fruit. "

"Comparing same price range and hotel class, the rooms are much smaller in size, the lighting in poor (entrance and walkway to bathroom is dark), the entrance is very large and spacious but only 1 sofa for guests to sit / wait, the staff doesn’t greet guests as they walk in, the cleaning staff still comes in to clean your room even with the do not disturb sign on. Overall there are better same class hotel with better customer service, larger rooms and better overall value for your money."

"The property was in a perfect location to walk that area of Vientiane, plenty of restaurants and shops just around the hotel. The breakfast spread is pretty amazing, though I would have preferred more Laos cuisine, but for expats from various countries, I think they did a great job. The bar was a great space and reprieve from the heat, though I wish their menu had more bar food for enjoying with alcohol or allowed outside food as there were so many street vendors outside. The wifi was spotty in the morning but was fine after 7 am."
