There are lots of facilities in the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at Osaka Integate. Great breakfast choices with unique dishes. The bed was very comfortable. Design of room shows attention to details eg dim lighting, phone charging cables and pyjamas. It's very convenient to sel check out and store suitcases whilst we explored the local shops. About the Umeda District

The Umeda District in Osaka, Japan is one of the main and busiest city centres in the Osaka Prefecture. Urban development has been on the rise in the district, making it one of the largest districts with a good range of accommodations, dining, entertainment, shopping, and transportation.

There is plenty of fun and excitement in the many places of interest at Umeda District, starting with Universal Studios Japan. It is a very popular attraction in the district, especially with the new addition of a Harry Potter attraction. The Umeda Sky Building affords a fantastic view of Osaka from the top of the building. It is an iconic landmark of Umeda District.

Take a cruise on the Osaka River during twilight to enjoy an unforgettable sight of great landmarks such as Osaka Castle and a romantic night scene along the river. Enjoy a cultural experience with the Osaka Shochikuza Kabuki theatrical performance.

Restaurants and Bars

Relish a gourmet experience in Umeda District with the very unusual Dotonbori Konamon Museum. It is recognizable by a huge octopus sign on the top of the restaurant. Learn how to prepare and make your own takoyaki dumplings at this restaurant. Good ramen can be found at Hanamarukan. They are known for serving their ramen marked with the words 'Shiawase Raihou', meaning the coming of happiness.

Umeda District is a shopping paradise with many big name department stores like Isetan, Daimaru, Hankyu, and Hanshin. The most interesting department store complex is the HEP or Hankyu Entertainment Park with a huge Ferris wheel on the roof top.

If you are looking for unique items and handicrafts, a recommendation is the Nakazaki-cho and Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Street. You will be able to find some very interesting small boutiques, antique shops, gifts, and souvenir shops, cafes, and restaurants.

The Don Quijote Umeda Store is a fun place to shop for bargain goods, unique and rare items, toys, joke, and comic items. There is also a Korean town called Miyuki-dori in Umeda District where you can find traditional Korean clothing, cuisine, and knick-knacks from Korea.<
