Clean, beautifully decorated, helpful staff, easy check in, super quiet, comfortable beds, room size was large and felt more like a small apartment with a sitting area and dividing doors. Location is near so many popular spots Gion, Nishiki Market, Pontocho Alley, lots of shops and restaurants, the river and close to subway stations. I did not want to leave. Highly recommend! "

"The hotel is a comfortable distance away from various sites and quite close to the subway station, making it easy to go to places. The breakfast buffet was good and had different options. The room was clean and colorful, although a bit cramped with the third bed that was moved into the room to accommodate our family (I did stub my toe haha), but we did not expect the room to be any bigger. The staff were respectful. Overall, a very good hotel! "
