"Great hotel"

"Staff was very friendly. There is a parking fee. Nice room but the toilet is very low! Nice linens. Great location in the French Quarter! I recommend it highly. "

"Well, let me see…. Neither one of our two queen beds had blankets on, just a set of sheets! We looked in the closets and everywhere. So we called the desk and they said “did you check the closets”. So they sent someone who claimed she didn’t speak English with one blanket….after about 30-45 minutes. When my daughter told her we needed two, she said “no English” so my daughter had to go downstairs to get another one. Then when we got up in the AM, we had coffee lids and coffee packets….but no cups. The shower head was welded in such a way, that you had to stand in the corner to shower and the hand held, unless you held it, it sprayed out the back and onto the floor. The cabinet latch was broken on the fridge cupboard, and the fridge was not working. We had to pay $50 for valet parking, and I asked if there was other parking and was told there was, but there had been several break-ins in the other parking!! Needless to say, the location was great, the beds were clean, but overall our experience was not great!! And breakfast is only served Thursday-Sunday!"

"Really enjoyed this hotel! It was safe and modern. They had a great restaurant attached to it as well had a big TV and bar in the lobby. I would recommend staying here, my friend and I stood here and didn’t have any complaints!"

"The beds were comfortable, not so much the pillows. The air conditioning was great. The location is amazing - everything in the French Quarter is walking distance. Friendly staff and it has a coffee shop downstairs. "

"Property is in a great location. The overall is what you expect for a classic New Orleans Orleans Hotel not completely pristine, but still old world charm. They should have notified prior to reservations that they were shutting down all amenities, pool workout facilities, etc., due to renovation, but obviously they want to capture the income so they don’t let you know until you get there. "
