We arrived early and they wouldn’t let us use the public restroom on an upper floor (there wasn’t one in the lobby) when we had to keep our bags with them (they knew we had a reservation because they checked to offer us early check in). When we finally went to put our bags in the closet for them to keep until we could check in, we weren’t done (I don’t think the man doing that job saw us when he passed us to the elevator maybe who knows) but we went to the front desk to ask where he had gone and the man at the front desk told us to wait for him to come back - there were no guests so he could’ve helped us. Thankfully the lady with him got the room open and our bags for us.
Checking in early was an extra cost. The room was not clean- there was a McDonald’s box under the bed and dust accumulating in a corner of the bathroom. A lot of dust- not great for people with allergies. In addition, this location is a bit sketchy, and the extra $50 wasn’t clearly stated when we checked in and we didn’t have to sign anything for it. This isn’t in the middle of the quarter though so it’s quieter thankfully. They didn’t seem to be reinforcing mask wearing mandates, but most people wore it albeit incorrectly most times.
