"Great inn and location. It's a few blocks above the main downtown area, so it's quiet, but walking distance to all the shops. Next to the inn is a great coffee/bistro shop. And directly across the street is the Viking hotel, that has a restaurant, lounge and rooftop bar. The staff is wonderful! And the rooms are spacious."

"The newly renovated Viking hotel was beyond amazing. The rooms were comfortable and very well appointed with wonderful amenities ....love the robes! The overall smell in the halls, the rooms , the lobby area was incredible. The roof deck was delightful with plenty of fire-pit seating. We thoroughly enjoyed Spa Fjor - the 80 min. massages were beyond wonderful and relaxing. My favorite part was spending time with Stephanie and Diane in the Skoal Room. KUDOS to these two bartenders in taking our experience to another level of fun and enjoyment. I will highly recommend the Viking to friends & family and I can't wait to return."

"Great location with parking and light breakfast included made this an ideal spot for a few days in Newport. Katie behind the front desk was terrific with knowledge of where to go and do in Newport... pitching in as needed o every aspect of running Gilded. Decor was funky and fun with lots of vibrant colors. Will definitely be back!"
