Room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful and for people with weak or non existent Japanese many staff members are capable with English. Highly recommend for folks looking for a base to explore Shinjuku

The check-in process needs to improve. More help needed, Registration opens at 2.00 P.M., the waiting line is very long. It takes 35 minutes to reach the check -in machines.

Shinagawa Prince Hotel
Huge hotel complex, easy to find, and confortable for a 1 night stay at a reasonable price. For longer stays, I would look elsewhere.

Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo
Room was very small with no room for luggage and 2 people but that is probably fairly typical for Tokyo. Breakfast was good with a wide choice. Staff very helpful.
