By day it's just another narrow alleyway common in Tokyo, but at night the street turns into a mini nightlife area for the salarymen of Tokyo. With numerous tiny #bar lining up, the nickname comes from the fact in the past so many drunk salarymen doing their "bussiness" there because there's no toilet anywhere in this alleyway. Today, regulation has been set in the area so it is a lot cleaner than before. The alleyway is very narrow and can only fit at maximum 2 people at a time so be mindful of your surrounding when visiting especially when there's many drunk people walking by from the bars. The bars are also very tiny and can only fit less than 10 people at a time. If you are not claustrophobic give them a try, it's a special experience on its own :)

Excellent location, lots of shops, restaurants, near a train station. There are stairs to enter the hotel and no elevator so be warned. Room & hotel are clean. There is a dining area that can be used with free coffee & tea. We ate our 7/11 breakfast there.

We stayed here for one night before flying out of Tokyo. Great location, and the front desk people were super cool with holding a lot of our luggage for the entire next day. Room was comfortable and relatively spacious. Thanks!

Rooms were of sufficient size for 1 adult and 2 kids. Rooms were clean and service was great. Highly recommend for an economical space while in Tokyo. Location is very convenient to two train stations.

This is a great place to stay for location; the space is clean, but the beds were quite uncomfortable. Very stiff mattresses with flat pillows. However, the location near Shin-Okubo station is very convenient.

The hotel is very close to two central stations so it's in a great location. The rooms are also surprisingly large and beds are comfortable and clean. The only downside would be that there is no elevator from the entrance to the 2nd floor (reception), so if you are traveling with many big bags, it might be a point of consideration. Otherwise it's a great hotel for its cost and check in and out is easy and simple.

Area is very close to Metro station and many activities. Bathroom out of the 80s, but everything works fine, blast from the past. Comfortable pillows and bed. Just enough space for luggage. The guest lounge is more of just a room to microwave your food so that's all we used it for. After the stairs to get to check in there is an elevator so it helps. I would stay here again.

This is a great property for exploring the surrounding neighborhoods of Shinjuku, Harajuku, and even Shibuya. Shin-okubo station is just 2 blocks away and a Don Quijote is literally next door. The property itself is in decent condition with a single elevator and adequate amenities. It's fairly clean overall but you'll find some dust in areas if you're on the tall side. We were on an upper floor with nice city views but no ability to open the window. Note that the main entrance is on the 2nd floor and so you'll need to lug yourself and your luggage there before being able to access the elevator. The room had neither a safe nor a microwave, but did have a fridge and even a room/fabric freshener. The water pressure was mediocre as is the internet speed - fine for browsing but with relatively high ping if you're e-gaming. Despite the nitpicks, the place is a great value for the price in a really convenient location if all you're looking for is a place to put your bags and sleep.

Stayed for 10 days and glad we found this place. We aren’t familiar with Tokyo but we would like to be close to the city and walking distance with some areas that we like to visit and this place was perfect. Its an old building but its well maintained. Clean and they gave you fresh towels everyday, and clean the rooms whenever you asks for it. The room was enough for my husband and I. We love the place, and would be coming back the next time we will visit Tokyo.
