I thought the hotel was fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel had many conveniences- a wide variety of complimentary toiletries, free juice and soda, and even a happy hour for guests. The internet speed was very good in case you need to do work or use streaming services.
There were plenty of mom and pop restaurants and shops nearby. And there are two train stations within a 10-15 minute walk.
All in all, a really nice and relaxing stay. I would definitely stay here again.
I had wonderful time staying at the hotel. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean! When I come back to Japan I"ll be rebooking with them.
This was mine and my sister's first hotel we stayed in in Japan. We have stayed in three others since and Super remains the hotel that we have had the best experience with. Every morning the breakfast buffet was delicious, there was free coffee and soft drinks as well as water in the lobby, and even though we opted out of room service, we were still left a bag of fresh towels and toothbrushes as well as water bottles on our door knob every night. We liked the onsen and the staff was very helpful, polite, and professional. We will most certainly be back next time we visit Japan!
We stayed in this hotel for one night. It was in a convenient location and had exactly what we needed. Free breakfast was delicious and all the staff was very polite and helpful. Would recommend to everyone!
Amazing breakfast with delicious pastries; it was the best part of waking up. Unfortunately, only one elevator so sometimes it is slow and no internal stairs. (There is a fire exit stairwell, but we didn't want to accidentally set off an alarm if we opened it. Not sure if we could use.)
They give you fresh towels and toothbrush every day
This is essentially a low-budget hotel option with very small rooms and is fine for a single-night stay (which we did) but wouldn't be ideal for an extended stay in my opinion. The bathrooms were extremely small and cramped, especially for a tall man like me. Regardless, the staff were friendly and welcoming and our stay included a buffet breakfast that was very nice with multiple options. The bed was a little uncomfortable. We have kids so I appreciated that we had adjoining rooms with a connecting door - very convenient. The hotel seems fairly new and is in good condition - very clean and safe. They also have an onzen on the property, which was nice.
You got everything you need in this hotel. The food, facility, service, and amenities are all great.
The only problem is the size of the room. It would be better if there have option for bigger room.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Super Hotel Shinagawa Shinbamba.
The hotel is on a very quiet street, which was a welcome retreat after a busy day exploring Tokyo.
At the same time, it's very convenient—the Shinbamba station is just a 5-10 minute walk away, and there are three convenience stores nearby for anything you might need.
While the rooms are small by Western standards, they are well-designed, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. We were especially impressed with how quiet the room was and we slept well every night.
The breakfast was a high point, with a great variety of good food. We particularly liked the fresh pastries. We also appreciated the coffee machine that brews from fresh beans and the fun juice and soda machine, which were always available.
When we return to Japan, we will definitely look for a Super Hotel first. Highly recommended.
Wonderful hotel with amazing staff. Like any tokyo hotel the rooms are small but modern and clean. The breakfast is wonderful and plentiful (the pastries were super fresh and tasty) the onsen is small and usually busy but still enjoyable nonetheless. They provide tons of amenities such as body lotions tooth brushes and Q tips. You really dont need to pack any toiletries. The area also has some great restaurants that are budget friendly and its very quiet and safe. Overall fantastic! Lastly its a bout 30 mins from downtown tokyo station and is close to the KK line which is a seperate fare vs the tokyo metro, something to keep in mind if your buying a transit pass.
