  • #Shinjuku #Tokyo #Japan #alley The famous piss alley or Omoide Yokocho in Shinjuku, Tokyo. By day it's just another narrow alleyway common in Tokyo, but at night the street turns into a mini nightlife area for the salarymen of Tokyo. With numerous tiny #bar lining up, the nickname comes from the fact in the past so many drunk salarymen doing their "bussiness" there because there's no toilet anywhere in this alleyway. Today, regulation has been set in the area so it is a lot cleaner than before. The alleyway is very narrow and can only fit at maximum 2 people at a time so be mindful of your surrounding when visiting especially when there's many drunk people walking by from the bars. The bars are also very tiny and can only fit less than 10 people at a time. If you are not claustrophobic give them a try, it's a special experience on its own :)

Friendly and extremely helpful staff at front desk. Breakfast buffet also had great food with a wide variety of Japanese style breakfast items. Only downside is having to go through Lawson to reach the elevator on ground level.

Great location if you’re ok with a short walk to any transit lines. Staff were really helpful and always available. The only downside is that the lobby is on the 2nd floor so if you have a lot of luggage, you either have to carry them down a set of stairs or lug them through the convenience store on the ground floor when you leave. But having a 24 hr convenience store was very helpful.

The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The breakfast was okay. They often ran out of items for breakfast and didn’t refill anything (that we ever saw anyway). The beds were very very firm (and that’s saying a lot because usually I like firm). The pillows were also very firm. It was not comfortable at all. The hotel was pretty close to train stations which was great. It was close to food and shopping options. It was surprisingly quiet.

location great, room small but comfortable.

Price was reasonable, each family member were able to stay in own room. Rooms were small but enough space for one person. Location was convenient to restaurants, 7-11, Lawson, Family Mart, train station, shopping, and meeting spot for tours.
Small room with twin bed but room was ideal for one person. Bed was comfortable and had a mini fridge and water kettle.
bathroom was sufficient. I liked the bidet. Hotel provided many toiletries except for body lotion.
