Staff were great. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but overall still very good. The hotel is also close to Osaki station which made navigating Tokyo a breeze. I would definitely stay here again.
The Daiwa Roynet Hotel Tokyo was convenient to get to the cruise terminal by taxi the next morning and to eateries in the mall nearby.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cleaning took a long time. No gym in the hotel but attached to a public gym which required daily payment but gym closed all day Monday. As well breakfast not in hotel in a restaurant next door and NOT worth the cost. Beds comfortable and room quiet.
Convenient location to Osaki station with restaurants, convenience stores, etc nearby. Seems more of a business/local/quieter area vs the high tourist, crowded areas of Tokyo. Close to Haneda airport through Shinagawa station.
I will definitely come back to this hotel. It is right at Osaki station and within the nice ThinkPark complex. It is a very pleasant area with gardens, restaurants and stores.
Consider to be normal hotel, not fancy in all deco and utilities. But location is good. A bit away from crowded commercial area but still reachable to transportation or walking distances. Cost is relatively lower compares to nearby areas.
Only one thing would be the bath tub might be too slippery. Could make some device to give more protection to residents.
Nice location by Osaki Station. It’s connected to ThinkPark Tower and that had a nice selection of restaurants. The shower water pressure was terrific. The washing machine is a combo one, so our clothes did not totally dry, had to hang everything up.
I have stayed at several Daiwa Roynet hotels now, in Tokyovand Kyoto. I find them consistent in their standards and a good choice for the cost-conscious traveller. Daiwa Roynet Osaki is conveniently located for connections to Yamanote and Saikyo lines as Osaki station is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel seems to be quite old compared to other Diawa Roynet hotels I've stayed in, with signs of minor wear and tear here and there, but the room was fine - comfortable, good air-conditioning, TV, and decent shower. That is all I need in a hotel, personally, as a base for exploration around the city. The staff appear to be multilingual and were quick to help with anything.
Very convinient, JR Line , Osaki Station. All Hotel staff members are friendly and helpful.
Last but not least , Hotel Guest have access (for a fee) to a member only Fitness Club inside the building.
I will stay in this well funktion Hotel again .
Love that it was walkable to the train station yet far away enough to not be disturbed by them. It was several restaurants, coffee shops and convenient stores very close by. Didn’t like the fact that you had to pay to use the pool and gym. Room was big enough for me and my suitcase because I traveled solo. I absolutely loved that I had views of Mt Fuji outside of my window!
We stayed at this hotel for 16 days and had a great experience. The staff was professional, helpful, and quick to solve any issues. The hotel is conveniently located near Osaki Station, providing easy access to the Yamanote Line.
The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The only downside is that the windows cannot be opened for fresh air, but this is a common policy in most hotels in Japan, so I wouldn’t consider it a major drawback.
Downstairs, there is a 24/7 convenience store and several good restaurants. For breakfast, we preferred Denny’s, and we also visited Gate City easily, where there are many great dining options.
I highly recommend this hotel!
Overall the property is in a very decent and respectable area between residential and commercial. The hotel itself is nice from the lobby/reception area to the gym and pool. The room however is small and outdated. Then their's the situation of the gym/pool facilities which is a false advertisement due to the fact that you have to pay to use the facilities, it's situated in the hotel but ran separately from it. The Osaki train station and bus depot plus taxi stand is a added bonus, for those looking to explore the city.
We stayed here during this Spring/Cherry Blossom season and loved our stay! The staff were very attentive from check in to check out - quickly responded when we needed extra pillows and blankets, and also when our son accidentally pulled down on a curtain and detached it from the railing. The beds were a bit small than we are used to (slightly wider than a twin bed in the USA) but it was enough for my husband and I to each share a bed with one of our children (9 years old and 7 years old). Beds and rooms were in good shape and clean.
Bonus extras is that they have children's amenities sets in the lobby, a change machine that free to use and a luggage scale.
But the best part of this hotel is the LOCATION! It was our first time visiting Japan and it was so convenient that the hotel building is connected to ThinkTank tower/a walking bridge via the second floor that takes you directly to Osaki Station - you never have to walk outside or around the building to reach the station. The same walking bridge also connects to Gate City tower which has a big Family Mart and several places to eat spread across 4 floors including a McDonalds and Starbucks.
To top it off, the hotel held our luggage for a couple of hours when we checked out before we would be picked up by a transfer ride to our next destination.
We feel we got this for a GREAT price, especially for the popular and expensive cherry blossom season, truly felt like such a great price. We would happily return!
