"Lovely convenient self-service property. Refreshments fridge and free water available 24/7, easy check in and check out. It is walkable for those who enjoy walking. About a 20 minute work into the very centre of Dutch Malacca. It is also a pretty walk past part of Little India and several good places to eat, so it doesn't feel like 20 minutes.
There is also a Chinese cultural temple upstairs which is worth a look.

"The best place to stay in Malacca, right at the center of the old town, a building behind the Christ Church Melaka. With a 7-11 at the entrance, the weekend market and Hard Rock Café and Jonker Street, it’s literally in the middle of all the action. And friendly people at the reception!"

Only downside is that the area is quite dark so not sure how safe it was although there are security guards and our neighbor upstairs were very noisy..
