Hotel de Sevigne

"Our stay was wonderful. We had a balcony room with an amazing view and could even see the Eiffel Tower! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the neighborhood too. Close walk to both the arc de triomphe and the Eiffel Tower but in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The cafes near by are also very good! Only negatives was that the pre-authorization charge for deposit was pretty steep. I’m used to hotels charging $150-200 but this one was about $350, so make sure you’re aware of this and prepared, especially if you don’t have multiple forms of payment. The shower is also a pretty high step up from the ground so be very careful when you’re getting out because it can be slippery. However, everything was extremely clean and beautiful and I’d recommend anyone to stay here in Paris!"

"This was the perfect accommodation for my purposes. I was traveling with my mother, and we needed a reasonale amount of personal space. We also required a place to have a casual meal, and a space to sit and talk. The Adagio met and, indeed, exceeded these specifics. The kitchen had a cooktop, microwave and diswasher (oddly no toaster) in addition to a Nespresso coffee maker and electric kettle. Plenty of dinnerware, and everything I needed to slice bread, make sandwiches, etc. The bathroom was really large--a huge surprise for me. Paris hotel bathrooms are usually little more than the size of the fixtures themselves with maybe a square foot for one to stand! The beds were extremely comfortable. The bedding was high quality. The location is pretty convenient, depending on your mobility and patience. The ten minute walk to the two closest metro stops wasn't a big deal for me, but it did wear on my 80-year old mother. On the other hand, there are two useful bus lines--one a few blocks away and the other right in front of the property! Don't hesitate to take the bus! The staff was very nice, although I didn't need to interact much with them during my seemless stay. The only significant problem I'd report is the elevators. There aren't enough for the number of rooms and at least one was out of order at various times of my stay. I'd definitely stay here again if I was traveling with another person."

"(EN:) Great experience overall. The front desk staff and management were extremely attentive, helpful, and polite. Breakfast is simple and doesn’t offer a huge variety, but it covers the basics well. The location is excellent, although we did have some issues with the side street being blocked at certain times of the day, which prevented taxis from getting through. This happened when we were leaving for the airport and we almost missed our flight because of it. The room itself is very small and cramped, and the bathroom is literally right next to the bed, which can be quite uncomfortable when sharing the room with someone. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, but next time I would try to book a larger room. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay. —— Português: Ótima experiência no geral. Equipe da recepção e gerência super atenciosas e educadas. Café da manhã simples, sem muita variedade, mas cumpre bem o básico. Localização excelente, embora tenhamos tido alguns transtornos com bloqueios na rua lateral, o que quase nos fez perder o voo. O quarto é bem pequeno e apertado; o banheiro colado na cama tira um pouco do conforto. No mais, voltaria a me hospedar, mas tentaria um quarto maior."
