I’ve been to Thailand a few times and the Empress Hotel has to the best hotel I’ve stayed in for service. When I arrived I received a voucher for a free drink and a welcome gift as well as being upgraded and in my room fresh fruit, the staff were just excellent very polite, friendly and helpful, good choice of food at breakfast time, the pool area was good as was my room(1501) If I do come back to Chiang Mai again I will definitely stay at the Empress Hotel

Very comfortable, clean, safe and welcoming. Club lounge access well worth the money with good selection of food and drinks. The guest relationship manager was my favourite person ever. Wish we could be friends

Fantastic.

This is a really amazing hotel in a good quiet location yet only 15 minute to night market and old town. Can’t speak highly enough of the staff and the place is immaculate. If you go to Chiang Mai stay there!!

This was a perfect stay, the hotel was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff couldn’t do anything more, even down to the very smallest details on room cleaning. Very impressed and would return in a heartbeat.

This has to best hotel in Chiang Mai - great location, amazing facilities and wonderful staff.

We stayed for 2 nights and we were pleased with the variety of food for breakfast, the early check-in given and the easy check out. We were given a connecting room so it was really a very comfortable stay. No hassle.

Wonderful staff and service. The rooms were gorgeous.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Ratilanna and wished it were more than just the 4 nights . It did feel like one of the 'grand hotels' , although of the Lanna style . The staff were unbelievable attentive , pleasant & polite . The food was excellent . As was breakfast . The choice was good , with a individually cooked eggs & omelettes , etc . Beautifully appointed rooms although I felt our bathroom could benefit from a small upgrade . Everything else was perfect . Beautiful...

We had 3 generations of our family enjoy a short stay in Chiangmail. This was a beautiful oasis. Serene, pretty, small and private. We will be back.

Have stayed here a few times. Great hotel and location

The best hotel I’ve stayed in for this price! All of the staff were friendly, respectful and attentive. They always go the extra mile, even when we didn’t ask for help they’ve thought of what we might need for our day excursion and offered us bottled water, insect repellent and face masks. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, making breakfast experience such a treat. The hotel itself is new and beautifully designed with all the modern amenities. The room was perfect with a gorgeous...

Very pleasant and efficient staff. Night quality of food options.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The setting in and out of room is beautiful. Great and healthy breakfast with many choices. The shuttle between hotel and town works well if you can find the various collecting points- we were forgotten once but they sent car to collect us soon after we called them.

Great staff and manager

We stayed here a total of 5 nights over 3 stays, and found the hotel to be very good. The location is great just a 5 - 10 minute walk to the night bazaar but also setback from the road so its quiet. The staff were very helpful in the main. They looked after our bags twice whilst we went on overnight trips and provided us with a packed breakfast when we needed to check out very early in the morning to catch our flight. They did forget to book our taxi to the airport, but that's our only...
