The staff were very professional, responsive, and friendly, which made the overall experience pleasant. However, in the loft-style room we stayed in, the upstairs closet opened into what appeared to be a small storage area filled with miscellaneous items, which was quite surprising and a bit uncomfortable. Aside from that, the room was fairly clean and the overall stay was decent.

There are plenty of shops nearby, which made everything very convenient during our stay. We traveled as a family and appreciated having a park just 2–3 blocks away, complete with a playground and some exercise equipment. It’s also within walking distance of the market, which is always a unique and enjoyable experience. Our room had older carpeting compared to the rooms our other family members stayed in on the same floor, and the corners could have used a bit more attention in terms of cleaning. That said, housekeeping checked in daily and promptly replaced anything we requested. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the location and family-friendly surroundings.

Since it was within walking distance to Shilin Night Market, we were able to enjoy it every night. The room had a panda-themed bathtub, which made our child very happy. It's also an area where you can enjoy plenty of local food, so we’d love to stay here again.

Old property, spacious and clean Easy to get anywhere with MRT. I think they need to train their personnel on customer service. I stayed at Ambience Hotel for the last two weeks of my trip and see a big gap on the customer service, friendly helpful and make me feel at home.

Very nice hotel, nothing to fault.Maybe... you have to find your own breakfast and there is nothing available in the area until 10am at least. Clean, professional staff and good exercise getting to public transport, which takes you everywhere. Quiet area and lots of eating places for lunch, though I did not eat here. It was all in Chinese and workers did not want or can't speak English. I did not know what I would get. I had picked hotel randomly but if I came back to Taipei/Taiwan I would stay here. More than I usually pay but worth it.

The first stayed the lamp was broken. The following week the window curtain fell and I told them but stayed that way till I checked out. The staffs some friendly some were not. The room is spacious and quality furnitures and amenities. The location is closed to MRT and Shilin market.the price is reasonable until there were sports competition.
