"A very poor experience. None of the rooms had working air conditioning, which appeared to be centrally switched off, and despite raising it multiple times, nothing was done. "No Parking close by to drop off luggage. Treacherous, steep downhill path through a park to take several heavy suitcases. Incredibly poor communication from the property, who in the first instance did not respond for over a week to our request for an early check in. e repeatedly asked host for check in details,and we eventually got them on the day of check in only 15 minutes before scheduled (normal) check in time, at which time we were already at the weddding of my daughter, having travelled...

"Edwina was a welcoming host! Nothing was too much trouble! Made sure we always had what we need! Accommodating our American car! Fabulous fresh cooked breakfast! Room was lovely which was cleaned daily. The best shower pressure! Tea coffee, water and juice in the room. Great location, walking distance to Esher town centre and the Racetrack! "Its a lovely hotel. Great location. Our room 31 was a little noisy as it had a connecting door with the room next to it and we could hear the other occupants. Food was very good and a wide choice same for breakfast menu. There was only one person on reception and the bar both in the evening and morning so service was a bit slow. Very friendly staff."

"As fabulous as ever! Courteous staff, excellent room amenities and a well-stocked club room! Great proximity to departure hall, literally a 4 minute walk. This has been my choice for many years, whenever flying from Heathrow, irrespective of which terminal I fly from! "

"Staff were lovely. Room very dated, mattress so old it's like sleeping straight on the bed base, had to sleep on half the duvet just for a bit of softness. Window didn't close properly. Loose wires coming out of the wall. "

"I loved this place. When I go to England, I enjoy these smaller, transformed hotels much more than bigger ones and Hand and Spear has been the best. The room I got was spacious with ample wardrobe space and beautiful decor. The bath was insane with a beautiful claw foot tub. I’m very self-sufficient when I travel so I don’t expect a room made up each day but I’m sure they would accommodate you and they quickly brought extra towels when I asked. The thing is…my room had food and a little fridge...

"Very handy airport stop over hotel , clean rooms , everything you need, and generous sized ensuite bathroom , really enjoyed the food restaurant and bar area in the evening while unwinding with sports channels to watch , good selection of beverages and evan a handy shop, My only downside is that sometimes noise levels in the corridors effected by people coming and going but it's an airport hotel so is understandable , otherwise very happy sleeper 😊😊👍👍"

"ヒュースロー空港到着と出発の際に宿泊。地下鉄てすぐ、ハウンズローセントラル駅からも徒歩割とすぐ、住宅街にあります。駅にもホテルにもエレベーターはありませんし、ホテルの方はスーツケースを運んでくれる気配もなく自力で。発着日のためバストイレ付を選択しました。連泊時にはシャワー別で少し節約しましたがその際に使うシャワーの方が広く快適でした。付近は治安は悪くはなさそうですが空港で買ってきたほうが安心です。駅とは違う方向へ行くとスーパーもあり、ばらまき土産も調達可能。ハウンズローあたりはイスラムの方が多いようでそういうレストランもありました。当方は女性一人旅なので行きませんでした。 ホテルは改装したようですが、コンセント位置やクローゼット等使い辛く、今時は枕元にコンセントが無いと携帯充電不自由ですね、しかも充電に時間がかかりました。 私はロンドン郊外の邸宅を回るため位置的に良いかと宿泊し、それ以外の日程では街中に宿替えしました。"
