"The place was situated in a very beautiful and peaceful location, Jon and Karen were more than helpful to answer any questions on visiting places, where to shop etc, the breakfast was wonderful every single day and service was exceptional, could not ask for anything more, Fantastic job done by Jon and Karen for a daily newly establishment compared to hotel chains that have been there forever in Iceland and are not half as good as Freya Farm 5/5 gold star rating"

"Breakfast very good. Parking had no issues. Room was small but clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
Would have liked kettle or coffee in room. Also, having ice somewhere on property would have been great."
"Very modern, well kept and beautiful place to stay. Highly recommended if you aren't scared to get off the beaten path a little. Jon and Karen are lovely hosts. (Also I never leave reviews, but thought this one was worthy of a good one)"
"Wonderful location, gorgeous room, incredibly easy check in process, kind and helpful staff. We left super early so not sure how the breakfast was. Commitment to sustainability, noticed throughout our entire trip."
"We stayed here on night 2 of our Ring Road tour and it was a good base after doing the Golden Circle sights. The hotel staff were friendly. The room we had was clean and spacious. There was a selection of teas and coffee sachets. The bathroom was big and the shower was good. The room was accessed through an external door, and there was a little sitting area outside. There is a small area at the back of the hotel with an electric sauna and a hot tub, which was very pleasant after a day’s sightseeing. Breakfast was buffet style and had a selection of Icelandic goods to try, such as barley porridge, skyr, happy marriage cake, cinnamon biscuits, Kleina (doughnuts), as well as the more usual fare. We ate in Hella about 15 mins drive away, though after seeing the breakfast, I wish we had eaten here."
